dida at the Opening of KI Park Satellite in Lingen: Supporting AI Innovation in Lower Saxony

News

Last week, dida attended the opening of a new KI Park satellite in Lingen (Lower Saxony), organized by KI Park and CORNEXION.

With 250 guests, the event was a great success for the launch of AI-related initiatives in this strong industrial region, which is home to companies of the typical German Mittelstand and some global niche market leaders.

Our colleague David Berscheid represented dida and had the opportunity to pitch dida to the audience, followed by interesting discussions about specific AI use cases that attendees were eager to get started with.

The event marked the launch of a broader vision to build an AI campus in Lingen, including office space, green energy-powered data centers and a coherent strategy with stakeholders from academia and politics.

Among our highlights were insights from regional keynote speakers who gave insights into their AI developments:

  • Prof. Dr. Goy Hinrich Korn (CDO, KRONE GROUP) presented how KRONE is using AI-based revenue forecasting models with a time horizon of up to three years.
  • Benjamin Wolters (Head of AI, ROSEN Group) shared his organization’s take on the development of safe and trustworthy AI systems.
  • Dr. Henning Krüp (Head of AI, LIST Gruppe) explained how to disregard the hype surrounding the topic.

We would like to thank the KI-Park for the kind invitation and excellent organization of the event. dida is proud to be a member of the KI Park ecosystem and looks forward to contributing to the responsible and effective integration of AI technologies across industries in Europe.
