COVID-19: Michael Borinsky contributed to a joint venture by RKI & HU Berlin

News

Mathematical models cannot cure COVID-19, but they can help us to understand how the virus spreads and to take the appropriate actions to contain the pandemic.

dida's external advisor Michael Borinsky contributed to a joint project by Robert Koch Institute and Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin which, amongst other things, provides country-specific predictions of COVID-19 case count numbers for the next 6 days.

Please take the predictions with a grain of salt: even scientifically sound predictive models can fail (consider the weather forecast).
