Abstract:
The greenhouse gas effect associated with the use of fossil fuel belongs to the grand challenges of society regarding mobility. An all-electric solution, especially in long-distance transport and aviation is currently doubtful. Also, chemicals based on hydrocarbons (C-source) are required in the future as well, so there is a need for conversion of either biomass or renewable electricity into hydrocarbon-based materials.
