Our talk at Deep Learning World in Berlin on November 12th

News

We very much enjoyed the opportunity to deliver a talk on the inner workings of convolutional neural nets (CNNs) at the Deep Learning World conference in Berlin.

In 2015, CNNs first won against humans in the yearly ImageNet challenge on image classification. This marked a turning point
in object recognition within visual data. Since then, further major advances has been made on the algorithmic and hardware
side. It has never been easier to setup and run a CNN. dida made use of these technological advancements in
various projects. The presentation provided the audience with insights into how object recognition projects are planned and what services
are used to technically set up the project. Also major obstacles and solutions were discussed. Thanks to the audience for your active participation in the Q&A session!
