dida contributes to publicplan's Anwendertag in Düsseldorf

News

Last week, Julius Lauenstein and Lorenz Richter followed the invitation by publicplan to attend and contribute to their annual “Anwendertag” in their headquarters in Düsseldorf.

The event is publicplan’s dedicated event to showcase digital administration in practice, with a focus on AI and open source solutions for the public administration. With representatives from authorities, public administration, and ministries, it was a great day to celebrate publicplan’s 15th anniversary.

Lorenz contributed a talk about "Information extraction with AI and LLMs: from complex forms to handwriting recognition", where he showed edge cases of information extraction scenarios that are not trivial to solve.

We would like to say thank you to Christian Knebel, Fabian Nagel and Moritz-Maximilian Katzer for the invitation and congratulations once again to the organization of this great event.

We’re looking forward to many more joint developments for the public sector in the future!
