dida conference 2025

News

Last Friday, we had the honor of welcoming around 300 AI and machine learning professionals at fizzforum in Berlin. With our annual conference, we aim to provide a platform where leading scientists and engineers can present their theoretical and applied work around AI and Machine Learning.

This year's program included a mix of all the topics that are important to us:

  • Bringing together public sector stakeholders at our pre-conference breakfast, who are working hard to make German and European governments AI-ready.

  • Providing insights from leading AI organizations into the currently hottest topics, such as by Dr. Julian Risch (deepset) with his workshop on AI agents or by Andrey Vasnetsov (Qdrant) with miniCOIL.

  • Looking at AI developments holistically, such as in the Responsible AI workshop (Florian Dohmann, Dina Dürkop, Dr. Liel Glaser), with Dr. Sebastian Lapuschkin's talk on Explainable AI, or by using confidential computing techniques (Thomas Strottner, Edgeless Systems).

  • Offering a stage to many great researchers during our poster session, where guests could learn about AI projects from Technische Universität München, Universität Hamburg, BalkonSonne.App, Zuse Institute Berlin, Fraunhofer Heinrich Hertz Institute HHI, Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin or Universität zu Lübeck.

And last but not least:

  • Bringing AI into production - with NVIDIA’s Triton Inference Servers (Dr. Marty Oelschläger, Fabian Dechent), in embedded platforms (Edwin Fung, Dr. Tassilo Glander) or in AI-driven products such as Mirelo AI (Dr. Florian Wenzel) and smartextract (Axel Besinger, Dr. Augusto Stoffel).

We would like to say thank you to everyone who helped contribute to this special day! Thank you to all contributors, long-term partners, guests and the whole dida team for joining the dida conference 2025!
