dida at the idealo Collaboration Day

At the end of last year, our machine learning scientist Marty Oelschläger accepted an invitation from idealo internet GmbH and Jan Anderssen to speak about "Automatic Product Generation: On our way to price comparison for the entire catalog".

In the joint presentation at the idealo Collaboration Day, Jan and Marty presented their entity matching solution for automatically grouping offers from the huge idealo catalog into products and variants using a combination of fast retrieval and high-precision matching.

We really enjoyed the event, where different idealo teams get together and inform each other about relevant developments within their departments.

Thank you once again, Jan Anderssen, for the invitation and the opportunity to present our project - it's always a rewarding challenge to work with idealo's large amounts of data.
