dida at the Generative AI Exchange
dida was happy to participate in the recent Generative AI Exchange at Celonis headquarters in Munich, where over 130 AI developers, specialists, and executives gathered to explore the latest advances in AI. Our machine learning scientist, Fabian Dechent, led a hands-on workshop, sharing insights from our deployment of a real-time license plate matching service for our client, APCOA.
Fabian's session focused on optimizing the performance of a TrOCR-based OCR system tailored to handle low-quality or partially truncated license plate images. He covered techniques for improving accuracy through metric learning and supervised learning, as well as deployment strategies using Nvidia Triton as a microservice.
We would like to thank Celonis, NVIDIA, and KI Park for fostering an inspiring atmosphere, and the attendees for their enthusiasm and engagement. Thanks to the Generative AI Exchange team for the opportunity to contribute to this interesting event!
